What do you like most about working at Olsson?

I enjoy gaining real-life experience in my chosen field and learning all the things they don't teach you in class..

Describe an intriguing project that you’ve worked on here at Olsson.

I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on the Memorial Stadium expansion. As a Husker fan and student at UNL, this has been very exciting for me to see the plans and actually make changes and updates to them.

What is your funniest memory so far of working at Olsson?

Working on the Land Development team, funny moments happen every day.

What’s most unusual job-related thing you’ve had to do at Olsson?

I helped conduct odor monitoring in Milford. I got to wear a giant mask and literally sniff the air, recording what I smelled at the land fill and feed lots. This was a learning experience for sure, but one I hope to not repeat. Cows don't smell very pleasant.

A fun/surprising fact about me is that I have only ever been out of the country once and that was to spend a month in Xi'an, China learning about engineering programs and projects there.
